Pre-contract procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nOur initial meeting determines the preliminary scope of the job and allows us time to take the necessary measurements for the preliminary design work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the second meeting, we present our design ideas and establish a preliminary budget. This is a starting point from which further decisions can be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you decide to proceed, we draft a letter of agreement and collect a deposit to be applied to the final bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In subsequent meetings, we can still modify the design and cost parameters until you are satisfied with the project’s scope and layout. We can also advise you as you select components, materials and color schemes. we have contract interior designers available for additional help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In our final planning meeting, we review the plans, specifications and contract. With your approval, the documents are signed and the timetable is worked out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Post-contract procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nUpon signing of the contract, we schedule a production meeting where we detail how the project will proceed and what to expect during construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On request, we can present a material list detailing make, model, color and type of products being used; and a production schedule that shows a day-by-day projected breakdown of when each phase of the project will be completed. We will handle all necessary local and state permits and notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the project nears completion, we schedule a walk-through that lets us inspect and discuss all remaining items of the project to help eliminate unnecessary delays or call-backs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
R. E. Williams Construction Services Company also provides a final cleaning service to make all areas affected during construction ready for day-to-day use. Thirty days after completion we schedule a follow-up walk through with the customer to make any additional touch-ups or adjustments that may be required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All projects are completed on a fixed price basis. Our warranty provides a one-year guarantee on all labor. All material, equipment and fixture warranties are passed on to the benefit of the customer. We also give a ten-year warranty on all structural work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
